A month in the life: A new daily series

Category:

If you’ve been following our journey for long, you know I love to share the ins and outs of our life on the road via daily post series. I may not be the best at how-to guides, gear reviews, and technical articles but by way of daily journaling I’m able to share a candid look at what this lifestyle is all about. Not the highlight reel, but the real deal. The good, the bad, and the ugly.

So far, the four daily post series that I’ve shared over the last three years have taken place during the winter and spring when our photography business is able to be location independent. In our six years living on the road full-time, I’ve never shared much about what life is like during the summer when we’re traveling around Colorado for work. This time of year feels so normal for us that I’ve fooled myself into thinking it’s not worth sharing. I’ve realized it’s probably the most realistic look at what life is like living on the road full time.

Starting tomorrow I’ll be sharing daily posts from the month of August. We’re only a third of the way into the month and yet we already have a lot to share. From the challenges of camping at high elevation to juggling work with life on the road to teaching courses at Overland Expo, we have a lot going on this month. We’re excited to share and hope you enjoy following along!

If you’ve missed any of our previous daily post series, you can find them here…

    1. I’m excited to share and happy to hear you’re looking forward to it!

  1. Hey Mark & Michelle, great to see you back on regular updates. Big change for Laurie and I… I thought I was fully retired, but my old company PMA tricked me into coming back for one last project. I’m managing completion of the Mandarin Hotel and Condos in Boca Raton, FL… we’ve been here for 2 weeks and really enjoying it… looks like a year or more to deliver the finished project. After that, as Willy says… On the road again.

    1. Wow, what a pivot! Good luck with the project. I hope it’s not too long before we get to see you two again!
