A month in the life

If you’ve been following our journey for long, you know I love to share the ins and outs of our life on the road via daily post series. I may not be the best at how-to guides, gear reviews, and technical articles but by way of daily journaling I’m able to share a candid look at what this lifestyle is all about. Not the highlight reel, but the real deal. The good, the bad, and the mundane.

So far, the four daily post series that I’ve shared over the last three years have taken place during the winter and spring when our photography business is able to be location independent. In our six years living on the road full-time, I’ve never shared much about what life is like during the summer when we’re traveling around Colorado for work. This time of year feels so normal for us that I’ve fooled myself into thinking it’s not worth sharing. I’ve realized it’s probably the most realistic look at what life is like living on the road full time.

From the challenges of camping at high elevation to juggling work with life on the road to teaching courses at Overland Expo, we had a very full month. We hope you enjoy this close-up look at our nomadic lifestyle!

If you’ve missed any of our previous daily post series, you can find them here…

2024 : 82 Days in Baja
2024: 4,000 miles to Alaska
2025: 135 Days in Mexico
