In 2024 we spent nearly three months exploring every corner of Mexico’s Baja California peninsula; documenting the journey in detail every day along the way. The winter long adventure proved to be as much about self-discovery as it was about the highs and lows of navigating a foreign land & culture. Along the way we unexpectedly formed a caravan with other full-time travelers who quickly went from strangers to confidants and added a layer of richness to our travels that we never could have anticipated.

82 days is a collection of short stories that highlight all the unexpected delights and unavoidable challenges that come with living and traveling in a 40 square foot home on wheels. From a pop-up Christmas celebration in the middle of nowhere to being graciously hosted by Mexicans when we found ourselves in need of a place to rest. From sea life encounters to nearly getting our camp swamped by the incoming tide to discovering a near fatal crack in the frame of our trailer while camped a hundred miles from anywhere. Every day in Baja was something new, something different, and something unexpected.
