1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User,” “you,” or “your”) and Once West LLC (doing business as Two Happy Campers, “we,” “us,” or “our”), governing your access to and use of https://twohappycampers.com (the “Site”) and all associated digital products, guides, maps, newsletters, and membership services.

By accessing our Site or purchasing products from us, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy and Disclaimer. If you do not agree, you must immediately discontinue use of the Site.

2. Intellectual Property Rights

All content published on the Site—including but not limited to written articles, travel essays, the A–Z Guide to Full-Time RV Living, newsletters, custom GPS coordinate maps, downloadable guidebooks, logos, brand marks, and original photography—is the exclusive intellectual property of Once West LLC and is protected by United States and international copyright and trademark laws.

  • Limited Personal License: We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Site and your purchased digital products strictly for personal, non-commercial use.
  • Prohibited Use: You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, republish, resell, scrape, modify, or create derivative works from any content, maps, or downloadable PDFs without prior express written permission from Once West LLC.

3. Digital Products & Purchase Terms

We sell proprietary digital publications, downloadable e-books (e.g., The Ultimate Baja Camping Guide), custom Google Maps, and GPX route layers via our online storefront.

  • Payment Fulfillment: Payments are processed securely via third-party processors (such as Stripe / SureCart). By submitting payment, you authorize us to charge your selected payment method.
  • Delivery: Digital products are delivered via immediate download links or access portals upon completed payment.
  • Refund Policy for Digital Products: Due to the immediate access and digital nature of downloadable assets (e-books, GPX files, interactive map layers), all digital product sales are final and non-refundable once delivered, except where required by applicable consumer law. If you experience technical issues downloading your files, please contact us for support.

4. Membership & Subscription Tiers

If you join our community or subscribe to premium content tiers:

  • Billing: Recurring subscription fees (monthly or annual) are billed in advance on a recurring cycle.
  • Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your member account dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period; we do not provide prorated refunds for partial billing cycles.
  • Account Termination: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate our community standards, attempt to scrape gated content, or share access credentials with third parties.

5. Backcountry Travel, Route & Technical Advice Disclaimer

  • Informational & Editorial Use Only: All routes, travel logs, campsite pins, GPS coordinates, vehicle recovery tips, and DIY electrical/solar modification notes are provided for educational and entertainment purposes only.
  • Assumption of Risk: Overlanding, dispersed camping, remote driving (including the Baja California peninsula), and DIY electrical work involve inherent dangers. Conditions change rapidly due to weather, road washouts, gate closures, or private land status. You assume full responsibility for your personal safety, mechanical preparedness, and navigation.
  • No Professional Duty: We are not master electricians, licensed mechanics, or certified travel operators. Review manufacturer specifications and local regulations before executing rig modifications or attempting remote routes.

6. Affiliate Disclosure & External Links

The Site contains links to third-party websites, outdoor gear retailers, and affiliate networks (such as CJ Affiliate, AvantLink, Awin, or Amazon Associates).

7. Prohibited Conduct

9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Colorado, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal suit, action, or proceeding arising out of or related to these Terms shall be instituted exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Colorado.
